LG G8S ThinQ and Q60 in South Africa

LG has launched two new smartphones in South Africa – the premium G8S ThinQ and the mid-range Q60.

The LG Q60 offers a powerful camera system with artificial intelligence features as well as a 6.26-inch HD+ display, which features a water drop cutout for the device’s front-facing camera.

Other impressive features on this cheaper device include a large 3,500mAh battery, triple-lens rear camera array, and 2.0GHz octa-core chipset.

The flagship LG Q8S ThinQ is also launching in South Africa, and boasts the latest smartphone hardware on the market.

Its cutting-edge front-facing camera leverages a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor technology to deliver secure biometric authentication, and it also supports features such as Portrait and Spotlight to help users enhance their selfies.

Inside its chassis, the LG G8 ThinQ boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile chipset and 3,550mAh battery.

The LG G8S ThinQ will be available in Mirror Black from 8 July 2019 and will be priced from R11,999.

LG’s mid-range Q60 device is available now at Vodacom, MTN, and Cell C in Moroccan Blue and is priced from R3,699.
