Samsung Galaxy S20
The new devices all sport overhauled camera systems and support for 5G connectivity in addition to improved display technology.
The Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra offer 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.9-inch OLED displays respectively, each with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Ultra is the flagship of the range, offering a highly-advanced camera system with up to 100x Super Resolution zoom.
The smartphones that will initially roll out in South Africa will not offer 5G connectivity, but Samsung Africa CEO Sung Yoon said that a mobile 5G network was expected to launch in South Africa in the next few months and the company was in discussions with mobile operators regarding the launch of 5G devices.
