The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge look similar to their respective predecessors in both appearance and hardware, with a few notable differences.
The specifications of each device received a slight bump, barring the resolution of the rear cameras which decreased slightly.
However, the most significant change is the return of the Galaxy’s ingress protection rating, coming in at IP68.
This means the devices are rated shock, dust, and waterproof. Another change is support for expandable storage through a microSD slot.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will launch on 11 March, and pre-orders will begin in a matter of days. The South African launch event is scheduled for 10 March.
